Zumbini has emphasis on poker strategy, reading as many books and learning from podcasts. And he produces regular articles and commentates on a poker TV channel. He also shares his passion for the game by giving regular presentations at poker conferences.
This passion comes with no little skill, as demonstrated when he made the successful leap to the offline world. Taking part in the Poker Grand Prix Main event in St. Vincent in June, 2009, Flavio won over fellow Italians to claim the $73,695 first prize.
More recently, he demonstrated his skills at the highest level during the $2,000 Limit Hold ‘em Event at the 2010 World Series of Poker. Starting in a field of 476, the Italian found himself on the final table before bowing out in fourth place with a $66,446 payday. Not too shabby.
